This cassette is made out of 2 parts. One part consists of 6 (7 for 11speed) cogs in titanium and the second part consists of 4 cogs in aluminum with ceramic coating. Because of the use of the titanium for the most used cogs the life of the cassette is extended. We also offer to replace the 4 cog aluminum part when worn.
